SHAPESHIFTING

Shapeshifting is something of a meta-Attribute; besides conveying the ability to assume different forms (usually limited to full or partial transformations into natural animals), it also includes the ability to change one's Attributes (though not Powers) in those forms.  A shapeshifter is limited to a handful of set forms, but in each one she could redistribute a percentage of her Attribute points into other Attributes.  Note that the limitation that stats of 7 or above require a bestial form stands for these assumed shapes as well.  For example, let's say that Mut's normal Attributes are Physique 4, Warfare 3, and Temple 6, for a total of 65 points.  She creates a second form, which she plans to take when she needs to enter combat.  Her Shapeshifting Power allows her to redistribute up to 40% of her points in Physique, Warfare, and Temple, for a total of up to 26 points.  She takes 24 points from her Temple attribute (figuring that her Temple defense in her primary form is sufficient) and adds them to Warfare, giving her second form a profile of Physique 4, Warfare 5 (Archery 6, Desert Tactics 6), Temple 3 (Direction Sense 4).  Note that Mut would be unable to use her intruder-detection abilities from her Temple attribute while in the second form, since her effective Temple stat is lower.  Once a form has been decided upon it can't be altered, but will improve with experience (just recalculate the form's attributes when you improve those of your base form).

Shapeshifters build up a repertoire of forms.  Each of these forms must have static Attributes and point costs, decided upon at character creation and whenever new Attributes or Shapeshifting Powers are purchased.  Changes to alternate forms upon advancement must remain consistent.  For example, if a second form takes points from Temple to add to Warfare, and then a higher % difference between the forms becomes available, the second form must still draw as many points to add to Temple as it used to.  The difference is that now it can draw even more than before, or draw them from Physique instead.  Since all forms must be chosen ahead of time, ask me if you have any questions about updating alternate forms.

Prerequisites: Human Form
Allows the ability to assume a human form which is nondescript and unidentifiable.  It will not conceal identity when entering the temple of someone with a Temple Attribute of 9 or higher, however.  This form can replace Human Form if another slot is not available or the player desires.  Attributes over 7 are disallowed in this form as described under Human Form.
