The setting for Heavy Feathers borrows heavily from both from Egyptian mythology and Zelazny's Amber universe, but without remaining terribly true to either one.  I've picked the elements that I think will make for a better game; this means that there will be many inconsistencies to those familiar with either setting.  For example, I've mixed and matched Egyptian and Greek names for gods and locations, rearranged the participants of many myths, and totally omitted some fairly important deities like Hathor.  Similarly, the Oberon analogue isn't the parent of the elders, Gerard is in line for the throne, and the center of the Amber universe, the Pattern, is basically missing (though some of its functions have been subsumed into the Land of the Dead).  I think I've left enough intact to reward those who are fans of both settings, and keep anyone who knows something of either from being too at sea.
